Animal Sites That Have Caught My Interest

There have been some pretty cool pet sites coming up lately. On the top of my list are Twitter Critters  and Paw Talk

Paw Talk is a very friendly forum that covers a wide range of animals. They also have some pretty cool feature stories and were nice enough to write about Chinchilla Place and our new T-shirt line and invite our team to become guest bloggers for them to help educate people on Chinchillas. If you have been looking for a newforum since chins and quills disappeared this may be a good place to check out! They have a chinchilla section and you can also meet other cool pet owners.

Twitter Critters is the other site that has caught my eye. It's a new social media site for animals and it's a lot of fun! I am sure we are all a bit inundated with social networks, I know that it took me a little bit of time to join Facebook snce I already had a Myspace, but I much prefer it now and I think Twitter Critters is going to be a huge hit. They are super easy to navigate, you get your own page to personalize, a feature I rather liked in Myspace and kinda missed when I went over to Facebook. It's easy to upload pics and they share the latest ones on the home page in a slide show. It also has a kinda forum feature to start topic discussions so you can have interaction with people that are not your "friends" yet. The founder Kendra is a pet groomer by day and blogger entroproneaur by night. Her and her Husband Sammy helped to start Twitter Critters and Chinchilla Place is proud to be amound their first 20 members. So stop by and join up. We could use more chinchilla representation@!
