    Chinchilla art...rejected?

    ninchilla

Ok So as some of you may know I have been collecting groovy chinchilla art to create some chinchilla t-shirts and other fun stuff. I recently tried to make the ninchilla image into a stamp for the holidays with Zazzle.com and get the chin store up and running. First let me say that it is not as easy as a cut and paste job. Unfortuntalty it is a little bit more involved. second the art was rejected! My adorable chinchilla stamps were shot down. I was bummed and not sure exactly sure why ninchilla didn't make the cut? Is it the sword? Below is the long boring email string. I was a little bummed that ninchilla was stricken down..but no worries ninchilla will live!  I will try him on a T soon and I think I will ease into stamp world with "got dust"hope that doesn't seem to offensive:P

    Hi Mike,

    1. What is the subject of this image? Is it ok for the text to be cut off?
It is a  chinchilla cartoon character wearing ninja gear. If it has to be I guess that's fine
    2. Do you have permission to use this image for commercial resale?
Yes I commissioned a cartoon artist to come up with the drawing for me for the purpose of making t-shirt and other items for my website chinchillaplace.comthe source

    3. What is the source of this image? Where did you find it?
I Found the artist on Craigs list and had him design a few images for me. Nice guy too

    Thanks!
    Jennifer

One of the guidelines is: "Does not contain, depict or refer to illegal activities, violence, drug use, or weapons use." Bet that's what spooked them.

It would have made a great stamp! What about "Chin-Chillin'"?
