Because we at Chinchilla Place are thankful for our many faithful readers, we would like to take the opportunity to highlight individuals who are making steps toward a safer lifestyle for their chinchillas here in our Featured Readers section.  If you've recently made improvements for your chins, please share them with us!  We would love to tell everyone about the great things you're doing.

July Featured Reader:  Brandy (Gainesville, Georgia)

This month, we would like to applaud a long-time, loyal CP reader, Brandy, for her tremendous cage upgrade for her two female chinchillas, Daisy and Raisin!  Below is their old cage (in the process of being disassembled), and, under that, is their new Martin's Highrise cage, complete with Flying Saucer wheel.

Brandy says her chins love the new cage with all the ledges, the hidey house, and the hammock - it is quite the upgrade and she is very happy with her purchases!  Daisy and Raisin's new mulit-level cage has no plastic or painted components and plenty of room for them to exercise.  We know proper chinchilla accessories are not always cheap, so kudos to you, Brandy, for the awesome upgrades you made.  Your chinchillas thank you!
